I got a real figure this year. I have wanted a figure for a long time, but the cost always kept me away. So, when I found a Manmachine Interface figure for $3(!), I acted appropriately. In addition to the figure (which I won’t actually discuss, to avoid spoiling the manga), I got a little guy who is an AI, and serves a similar narrative role as Tachikoma in GITS. So I will probably hide him around the house, like my Tachikoma. ^_^
